After spending several years working at law firms of various sizes, Katrina started Intuos Law with the idea in mind that legal services should be responsive, agile and provide value. She is passionate about understanding what clients want when it comes to delivering excellent legal services. She works with businesses in various industries including technology, medical, sports, fashion, retail, entertainment and with franchises. She frequently speaks with co-working offices and other audiences on business law matters.
Katrina is a liaison lawyer with Courthouse Libraries based in Vancouver. She is responsible for delivering training and outreach for lawyers and the public. She hosts speakers for presentations and webinars around the province on numerous substantive and practice management subjects and is frequently publishing and presenting for the Courthouse on legal matters. She also bridges organizations with the legal sector and integrates innovation and technology into the mix whenever possible.
Katrina is a co-working lawyer with Clio, providing feedback and ideas to enhance their cutting-edge legal practice management software. She is passionate about using technology to streamline and improve how she works.
She also works frequently with non-profit societies and is the director of a provincial sport organization for Chinese martial arts. In her spare time she attempts to fight gravity on skis, bikes or in acrobatics, and her passions are craft beer and her mini Australian Shepherd. She is multi-lingual: learning Mandarin and Cantonese growing up and through her work with Chinese martial arts, and learning Spanish by frequenting Latin American countries for volunteer work and language immersion. She lives in Vancouver.
